Until There Is

The desire to have everything just the way it should be - that perfect presentation/preparation - seems so often to debilitate that reception of what is ready to meet us. The expectation never met. The mood that was sullen. The body that wasn’t dressed just so. The heart that was selfish and missed the grace extended.

How to receive what the light brings when it reveals a face and a shadow, and when it shines on this moment and the next? How to meet one another until there is an answer to what is within?
